Certifications

As a sign of the company’s uncompromising commitment towards its customers, a wide range of products for the thermal insulation systems (External Thermal Insulation Composite System – ETICS) has been given an ETA n. 18/1026, in compliance with the requirements of the EAD 040016-00-0404 technical specification.

The consequent CE product mark accounts for the up-dated maintenance of the technical performances, verified through a series of technical tests during the Factory Production Control. This self-checking program is implemented in compliance with fixed method and time standards, under the control of an ever-working surveillance system by an external Notified Body, the ITC-CNR institute.

EN 15102:2007 + A1:2011 harmonized standards have been extended also to glass fiber wall coverings GAVATEX and PARKOUR as they are to be considered as bulding products: they are also provided with a CE mark and a Declaration of performance (DoP) as a product warranty to the customer.

With the purpose of offering quality products and services aimed at all markets, since the end of the 1990s Gavazzi has obtained the French QB - Quality Building Certification (formerly CSTB) for items 0158-CA and 0161-CA, which certifies the best performance achievable by an item for use in EIFS.

In a world of increasing global challenges, the construction industry must move quickly to adopt sustainable building practices. The goal is to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption and ensure a comfortable and dignified environment for all. In this context, Gavazzi  has obtained the EPD (ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION) from the ICMQ certification body for two groups of building products:  Coated meshes, Glassfiber meshes for structural reinforcement.

This voluntary certification reflects our commitment to assess and reduce the environmental impact of our products. Through careful life cycle analysis, we measure and improve environmental performance from manufacture to disposal.
